SI4Life - Science and Enterprise is a new Consortium proposed as a scientific-technological Innovation Hub in Liguria with the aim to improve the quality of life of elderly and disabled people.

Through high-level research, the objectives are to develop new tools, and aids and prosthetic products which when combined with innovative rehabilitation and educational re-training methods will allow development of tactile and aptic support, improved social integration and achievements, recovery skills, autonomy and quality of life for older people and those with sensory (vision, hearing), neuromotor and cognitive disabilities.

The Main Areas of interest of the consortium SI4Life are:

● Building synergies between the different bodies engaged in Research, Innovation, Training, Production and use of aids and Technologies for the elderly or disabled;

● Promote and advance the research of macro-issues derived from the exploitation of the experience, aids and research of the different partners emerging from the innovation evolved from these synergies, combination;

● Promote and implement basic and translational research on mechanisms of sensory processing and motor neuro programming, even in the presence of cognitive deficits...
